Workshops
Drama classes are held every Saturday morning during term time. There are two classes for Juniors (8-13 year old) and Seniors (14-18 year old) run by a charismatic and very experienced leader, Rhys Moore. The classes focus on all aspects of drama – voice, characterization, improvisation, movement, stage fighting and (for the senior group) the opportunity to direct.
What we do:
- Annual full scale, main stage production – past shows included ‘James and the Giant Peach’, Odysseus’, ‘The Wardrobe’, ‘Wind in the Willows’
- They showcase their progress throughout the year, with one-act plays and group devised performances.
- All SLT Young Player are encouraged to audition or can work backstage/technical on their production.
- All SLT Youth Players can audition for Swansea Little Theatre main productions
