Workshops
Drama classes are held every Saturday morning during term time. There are three classes for Juniors (5-9 year old), Middle (10-14 year old) and Seniors (14-17 year old). The classes focus on all aspects of drama – voice, characterization, improvisation, movement, stage fighting and (for the senior group) the opportunity to direct.
What we do:
- Annual full scale, main stage production – past shows included ‘Psycho Night at the Paradise Lounge’, ‘James and the Giant Peach’, Odysseus’.
- They showcase their progress throughout the year, with one-act plays and group devised performances.
- All SLT Young Player are encouraged to audition or can work backstage/technical on their production.
- All SLT Youth Players can audition for Swansea Little Theatre main productions
